My name is
adam majrouh.

I am a Father Wound Advocate, working with men who sense that something unresolved from their relationship with their father continues to shape their inner life, relationships, and sense of direction.

This work is not theoretical for me.
It is lived, practiced, and continually unfolding.

How this work found me

For much of my life, I carried questions about belonging, trust, and inner authority — questions that could not be answered through achievement or performance alone.

Like many men, I did not initially recognise these struggles as relational or inherited. It took years of reflection, inner work, and honest reckoning to understand how deeply my early relationship with my father had shaped my emotional world.

Healing did not come through a single insight or breakthrough.
It came gradually — through responsibility, understanding, reconciliation, and the willingness to face what had remained unspoken.

That process continues to inform how I live, how I relate, and how I show up with others.

My work today

My work today

I have worked in the field of personal growth for over 25 years, with more than 16 years dedicated specifically to supporting men.

My approach blends:

• emotional awareness

• narrative and relational inquiry

• inner child work

• a strong emphasis on personal responsibility

I work with men aged 25 to 75+, from many cultural and personal backgrounds, both in Australia and internationally.

This work is explored more fully in my book,
The Father Wound — The Unspoken Inheritance.

How I work

I don’t believe in fixing people.

I believe in creating the conditions where:

  • clarity can emerge
  • responsibility can be reclaimed
  • emotional truth can be met without judgment
  • and new ways of relating can slowly take root

My role is not to lead from above, but to walk beside — with presence, steadiness, and respect for each man’s pace and dignity.

Beyond the work

I am based in Perth, Western Australia.
I am a father of four and a grandfather to eight much-loved grandchildren.

Creativity and stillness matter to me. Outside my professional work, I find grounding in reading, painting, music, and cooking — simple practices that keep me connected to what is essential.

You may notice that I write my name in lowercase. This is intentional — a quiet gesture toward humility, shared humanity, and the belief that the work itself matters more than the one doing it.

An invitation

If you’re here, you may already sense that something in your own story is asking to be understood more fully.

If and when you feel ready, you’re welcome to explore this work further through a free Discovery Session — a conversation to clarify where you are, and whether working together feels appropriate.

A brief note

I am not a medical professional, and my work does not replace medical or psychological care. Where specialised support is needed, I encourage appropriate professional guidance.

Warmly,
adam majrouh
